Highlights

Highlights of our past week include:

- Having some Whiddens come visit! Jared's brother Gary and his wife Allie came for the long weekend. I wish we could have company, Rockband/Wii tournaments, and pig out on junk food every single weekend. Then Jared's brother Tim, his girlfriend Ashton, and her sisters came for the day on Tuesday. We went up to Josephine Falls - a little cold but the falls were amazing.



- Playschool! Our little at-home playschool is going so good. We have 5 families involved in it now and the kids are learning so much. I have seen such an improvement with Carter since we started. We focus on letters mostly (each week we do a different letter) and these kids are spelling their names (verbally and written) and even spelling a few other simple words now. Definitely a sucessfull little group, if I do say so myself :)

- My kids! Ok, so they are actually the highlight of my life not just week, but lately they are being so sweet and good and playing together so nicely. Even when they argue, it's still stinkin cute. Driving back from Lethbridge, Hayley spouted off this line (verbatum, I promise): "Carter, I don't want to be rude, but don't talk at me right now, ok?!?". Word for word. That girl's vocabulary just blows us away.

- A shopping trip! We went to lethbridge, stayed in a hotel for a night and had some full days of shopping. We visited the Jarmans, Jared's brothers, I got everything I needed for Super Saturday crafts (this week!), and we almost completed our Christmas shopping, too. Yay for getting things done!

- I got crafty! I made a bunch of bows for Hayley's hair. I wish I could sit down and do that more often, it was so fun.

I haven't been keeping up with this blog that great lately. I've allowed longer breaks between posts. Things here are busy, as always. I have been busy with Super Saturday stuff. 4 more days... then I can have my normal life back :)

Then I can blog a bit more regularly. In the words of my oh-so-humorous sister: Bad blogger! Sit. Type. Good girl.
