Yesterday the kids and I went to Waterton for the day to visit my parents who are camping there. It's been awhile since I've done a leisurely road trip with the kids. And for that matter, it's been awhile since we've been to Waterton.
We all went to Cameron Lake and did some fishing and a small hike with the kids.
I wanted a nice picture of the kids in front of the lake, and they pulled their typical crazy stance with the thumbs up pose. My Mom and I joined in, it was apparently the cool thing to do.

We were seeing lots of Wildlife there and of course, for my children that's not as much of a novelty considering where we live. The other tourists however, were snapping pictures, whispering quietly, ya know, generally trying to enjoy the wildlife without disturbing them in their natural habitat. And what were my children doing? Trying to scare the deer by yelling and clapping their hands, and I'm pretty sure one of them yelled something to the effect of "Watch where you're pooping, I'm trying to walk here!". I felt so bad for the tourists, wondering if maybe I should explain my childrens' behavior by announcing the fact that we've had our jack-o-lanterns eaten, garbage picked through, and lawn pooped on numerous times by these "beautiful creatures".

There was a rope swing there too. Watching this video makes me laugh every single time. Jared will do anything for a laugh and Hayley eats it up.
