Awwww

We got another little nephew!!! Jared's brother Gary and his wife Allie had their sweet baby boy on Sunday.

Welcome to the world baby Tayson! We can't wait to snuggle you in T minus 3 DAYS!!!!

Calaway Park!!

This past weekend we took the trailer up to Calgary and camped at Calaway Park Campground. We went to Calaway Park and did all the rides with the kids. I learned one important fact: our little Hayley is a daredevil! She wanted to go on the crazy roller coaster even, those kiddie rides just weren't scary enough for her.

We had such a fun day and can't wait to go back. The campground was awesome too, there were alot of other families camping there and all the kids just made friends and played together every chance they got. I stopped Carter from playing with his new friends just long enough to snap this picture of him with the sky behind:

The picture doesn't do it justice, the sky was beautiful! And the old saying, "Pink sky at night, sailor's delight" held true the next day, we had great weather!

Chinook Lake

This past weekend we went camping at Chinook Lake with some friends. The kids all played so hard; biking, running, swimming, getting dirty, and eating way too many smores.

Just a few pictures of the kids since they're the cuter ones anyways. The weather was perfect and we can't wait to get out camping again next weekend :)

Baseball, Bicycles, and Bouncin'

This is a little late, but Carter had a softball tournament a couple weeks ago and I snapped a couple pics of our little ball player.
up to bat
playing 3rd base
infield (notice the black dirt rubbed underneath his eyes, haha)
We've been out for a few family bike rides too. I can honestly say I am so happy to have kids old enough that we are forever DONE with bike trailers and baby seats behind our bikes :)

The trampoline has still been getting lots of use...as always!

My kids spend hours out bouncing on the trampoline together, usually playing "Lord of the Rings" or "Pirates of the Caribbean"....two of the (extremely loooong) series of movies we've watched with the kids recently :)

Waterton

Yesterday we took the kids to Waterton for the day. We started out the day by doing the Bears Hump hike. Having a 4-year-old and a 7-year-old, we were prepared to take alot of breaks and give some piggy-back rides along the way. The kids both did AWESOME and didn't even need any help whatsoever. They practically skipped up the side of the mountain, switchback after switchback. It was amazing!

hiking the trail

Finally at the top!
There were these cute chipmunks up at the top, so we fed them soy nuts right from our hands.

Photo Op at Cameron Falls
We rented this cool bike and peddled around the town.
Watching the boats at the marina

It was such a fun adventure day as a family.... our specialty :)
