Yesterday we took the kids to Waterton for the day. We started out the day by doing the Bears Hump hike. Having a 4-year-old and a 7-year-old, we were prepared to take alot of breaks and give some piggy-back rides along the way. The kids both did AWESOME and didn't even need any help whatsoever. They practically skipped up the side of the mountain, switchback after switchback. It was amazing!

Finally at the top!

There were these cute chipmunks up at the top, so we fed them soy nuts right from our hands.

Photo Op at Cameron Falls

We rented this cool bike and peddled around the town.

Watching the boats at the marina

It was such a fun adventure day as a family.... our specialty :)

Ah! Waterton. I was supposed to go there yesterday but a deer on Monday night had other plans for me. Did you get a hot dog and sweet potato fries from Wieners of Waterton? They are delish!
That looks so fun! And Bears Hump doesn't look nearly as intimidating as I always make it seem. Someday...
Shauna...a deer??? Did you get hoofed??? My worst nightmare, lol.
We walked past Wieners of Waterton but didn't go in - next time!!
No...not hoofed but we did de-antler him. I blogged about it under Irony and Gratitude.
