I have been reprimanded for not posting any pictures of our house (ahem, Kirsti). Sadly, I am still not going to post any, though. How am I supposed to put up "before and after pics" when it's not "after" yet? But I promise soon I will put up all the pictures of the renos we've been doing when I have finished results to show. So I'll just show all the pictures of what we've been so busy with:

Carter had so much fun with that.
Jared is in Mackenzie for work right now and gets home tomorrow. That means I've been doing some of the painting myself. At this point, I would be glad to never have to look at a paintbrush again, but sadly we still have some left to do.
I am so loving our deck, with our amazing panoramic views. It stills kinda takes my breath away every time I step outside. I hope we never lose our appreciation for it cuz I could see that happening. I am already so used to seeing deer and elk daily, it doesn't even phase me anymore.
And now that the weather is getting nicer, it's finally time for sunglasses!

LOL - thank you for satisfying some of my curiosity with those pictures. I figured you guys had been swallowed up into the land of never ending house reno's.
Love the view!! when you feel like you don't appreciate the view anymore go away to the big city and I am sure once you return you will be in awe again.

That is one thing I have missed is the mountains. I have trouble remembering which way is west! I am so used to seeing them, that I find it funny I can't see them at all!
I miss the view of the mountains. Tim's thinking about maybe coming to the mines to work too...in the future though. We've got a couple of years here still to wrap some things up.
And renos...I suck at them. Your house looks so nice though. Can't wait to see the finished product!!
