We thought today would be warm enough to go sledding at a nearby hill.
We were wrong.
We froze and only went down a few times before deciding to call it quits. Having to take your kids to the ER for hypothermia is not how we wanted to spend our Saturday - kidding, it wasn't that cold. Jared and Hayley were the tough ones that wanted to keep going, but Carter and I are apparently "fragile" (according to Jared) and just wanted to be warm. And drink some hot chocolate.

But we did get to try out Carter's new sled from Grandma and Grandpa, and now we can't wait until it warms up a bit more so we can go again!

That looks like so much fun! Cold....but still so fun!!!
I have not even gone sledding...actually the last time I went sledding was before Mackenzie and I were engaged!
I am such a wimp when it comes to the cold, I have to wear two sweaters, and I am still cold!
It looks like Jared needs a winter coat! Looks fun though. But I'm ready for summer now..and camping!
To funny! Hopefully it warms up enough for you all to want to have fun sledding!
