*This is for you Mom*
This year for Christmas, I made Hayley a barbie doll house, which is something I've wanted to do for her since the second the ultrasound tech said "It's a Girl!".
I used an old book shelf, a few dollar store items, tons of paint, Styrofoam, and material scraps and voila: My very own, I mean, her very own doll house :)
She opened it this morning and her reaction was completely worth my 20-some-odd hours of elf-like labor. She loves it.

Total cost of the dollhouse: $11
A daughter who plays Barbies even if I have to force her to : Priceless

WOW!!! I LOVE it!
Mom
You're freaking amazing!!! Now I want to make one for Kalea... is it weird to make her one before she can even say "Barbie"???
That is so awesome!! Little girls are so much fun to play, even if sometimes it may appear to be more mom playing...lol.
Julie, that is fabulous! How fun! I can't believe just how crafty you are. What's it going to be next year?
Is that table base made out of a toilet paper tube? If it is, your my hero! (I'm still trying to perfect the mini-golf idea! jokes)
Wow - I'm amazed! It's perfect and I really want to try it out! I'm thinking I need to make one for me (and brenna) now! Great job.
You are SOOOOOOOOOO talented! It looks fantastic! Way to go!
man i'm impressed thats amazing julie!
That rocks!! I just might have to copy thsi idea for Samantha.
I love how you decorated. How did you cover the couches? You need to come teach me how to do the furniture. We have a HUGE dollhouse that has nothing inside because I got tired of the plastic furniture and threw it all away. (Having it thrown at me and getting a fat lip from it may have had something to do with that too.) I cut out some couches and beds from some foam we had lying around but I can't figure out how to cover them. I'm betting the girls would play with it more...me too...if it was done up as nice as yours!
I"m gonna hire you to make one for Kinsey in a couple of years. This is AMAZING!
Sooooo cute Julie!!! Your are very talented, I may have to ask you for tips if I take on this task for Avery!
