This post is for Heidi because she's the one who's been asking for the home improvement pics this time. I don't know how interesting it'll be so I hope it lives up to the hype, Heidi! :)
We finally finished the flooring in the living room. I absolutely love it, but I think anything would be an improvement after the forest green carpet and orange walls the old owners had in here.

Once again keep in mind that I have no pictures on the wall or books on the shelves so it looks really bare. But imagine how it'll be once we get some new furniture, too! I am counting down till that time.
And here's to show you how fun it is to be renovating with kids:
Why do they gravitate to the dangerous areas? Uneven floor, baseboards with nails sticking out - and they're having a blast! And we wonder why it took us so long to finish.

Did you guys to the floor by yourselves?? You are major home renovator's these days.
Ooooohhh I love the floor! It looks great!!!! As for new furniture? I hear ya! But i keep telling myself i won't want it until my kids are old and grown....sure!
Very nice! You just need to find a furniture that is either going out of business or selling their floor models and then you can get some good deals.
Love the way it is looking! I know what you mean by pictures on the wall and stuff. I am sort of excited to redo Sam's room, but not at the same time.
We might be buying a house that has to be totally renovated....I don't really want to do it, but it's such a great deal, that how could we pass it up? I just don't really want to do it....
You guys are doing such a great job. Doesn't even look like the same house. I can't understand why you didn't keep the orange walls though.
