2 weeks ago was the start of our Spring Vacation from school so the kids and I headed up to visit my parents in Sherwood Park. We did lots of shopping and went to Chuck E Cheese!
We got to see lots of fun friends too:
McD's Playplace lunch date with Kristi and her kids
We also got to spend lots of time with my old college roommate Jeanne and her 2 boys. I just love these girls. Still the same fun times together, just now we're older with a few more kids in the mix :)
We used the Straws and Connectors set to make a cage for the kids.
It didn't last long!
Carter and Hayley helped my Dad build his Cub Car for the rally. I think they convinced him to do Lightning McQueen...who else? Cars 2: It's an obsession. Still.
These kids sure love their Grandpa and Grandma!

so fun! i can't get over how long hayley's hair is. she is looking so old. they both are.
and so awesome to see jeanne's lovely face. & her sweet boys. i need to see her in real life someday.
AND it was great to get caught up on your blog. i've been a little out of the loop, but i feel like i'm starting to get into the swing of things...tons of fun at the whidden house, as usual!
